Challenging and high class golf courses

Gullane Golf Links, situated a short drive from Edinburgh on the Firth of Forth, consists of three golf courses, laid out over prime seaside land, and simply known by number reflecting their age – Gullane No.1(1884), Gullane No2.(1898) and Gullane No.3(1910).

Gullane No1 is the most senior of the triumvirate of courses and provides an exceptional golfing challenge and has a long and illustrious history in hosting national and international championship golf events.

Thanks to the famous ‘Gullane Hill’ this course is a great deal hillier than most other Scottish links courses, providing an outstanding test of golf. Carved into the ancient turf you;ll find plenty of pot bunkers, wispy grass and beautiful smooth running greens. All combined with the vagaries of the weather ensures the course is a unique challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Gullane offers a unique range of golfing experiences, combining a major role in the history of golf in Scotland, great golfing conditions and a truly spectacular environment. But don’t be misled into thinking the Gullane is a somewhat quirky old-fashioned affair -this is a challenging and high class golf course.
