Built upon old fashioned golfing virtues

Perhaps less well known than its neighbouring courses on this TLC Swing, Dunbar Links provides a challenging links course with stunning scenery, and renowned for having one of the friendliest clubhouses in the area.

As befits a gem of golf course architecture (Old Tom, James Braid and Ben Sayers have all been involved in its design since 1856) Dunbar Links has a pedigree second to none. Well defined holes following the natural contours of a narrow strip of land between the old red sandstone deer park wall and the rocky shoreline are the hallmarks of these links.

Not the longest championship course (6500 yards), this is a course built upon the old fashioned golfing virtues of club selection and shot making demanding accuracy and judgement, rewarding bravery and skill.
