A thoroughly enjoyable challenge

One of the great hidden gems of Irish Golf, the Dooks is one of Ireland’s oldest and most scenic links. Tucked away on the Ring of Kerry, 30 minutes from Killarney, the Dooks is a traditional and delightful old fashioned golf club with scenic and testing golf links.

Barely 6500 yards in length, although it may lack the towering dunes of its close by neighbours such as Ballybunion and Tralee, it demands all the bumpy, imaginative shots required for true links golf – it’s a thoroughly enjoyable challenge. The layout is very natural and the greens lie where they fell.

Set on the edge of Dingle Bay and overlooking the McGillycuddy Reeks mountain range, the Dooks Golf Links offers a visual feast of scenery as well as the technical challenge for all golfers.
