The perfect base for your Irish adventure

Probably the best known of the golf courses in this area is Rosapenna, home to the Old Tom Morris Links, (designed by the man himself in 1893). In addition there’s Sandy Hills Links and the new St Patrick’s Links by Tom Dook, which since 2021 has taken the golf world by storm.

Entering the Golf Magazine top 100 world rankings it went straight in at number 55  – it was the highest new entry. With a luxury hotel on site it’s the perfect base for your golfing adventure in Ireland. The north west may be remote but that doesn’t mean you will want for other options.

Look at Portsalon; Donegal; and venture into County Mayo to play Carne. You could spend a week and never tire, or couple it with the better known courses in the North Swing.
