The Gleneagles Collection

Gleneagles Hotel and resort is a luxury hotel.spa and golfing destination set in the heart of Perthshire countryside. When it opened in 1924, this magnificent estate set in 850 acres of beautiful countryside was described as the ‘Riviera in the Highlands’.

The accommodations at Gleneagles are as glorious as the landscape that frames them, with a luxury 5+ star hotel feel – all individually inspired by the mountains and meadows, rivers and lochs of the Perthshire countryside.

Gleneagles’ reputation as a sporting paradise has flourished for over a century, and golf sits at its very heart. With three championship courses, Gleneagles offers a unique golfing experience – from the ‘King’s Course, an ‘inland links’ classic; designed by James Braid; the Queens Course, one of the finest par-68 heathleand courses in the UK and finally to the contemporary PGA Centenary Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus and host to the 2014 Ryder Cup and the 2019 Solheim Cup.

These 54 holes offer a world class golfing experience – all just 5 minutes from your hotel room.

And there’s more

In addition to the 3 championship golf courses that draw visitors to Gleneagles the resort is truly a destination for all and Gleneagles offers a wonderful range of family friendly activities and country pursuits for all ages and abilities.

Our clients have especially enjoyed a morning of falconry getting close up and personal with Golden Eagles, and falcons – the hotel offers individual, group and family sessions.

Or if shooting and fishing appeals you couldn’t be in a better place. Try your hand at clay shooting on the range or even deer stalking on the Estate and you can cast a line for trout in the hotel grounds or experience salmon fishing on the nearby River Tay.

And finally you have one of the best spa experiences in Scotland where you can be pampered, relax and rejuvenate at the end of the day.

Simple – it offers something extra – high quality accommodation, prestigious golf courses and a little bit of luxury!
Let’s look at what a sample itinerary for a stay in Gleneagles , shown below, will give you some idea of what your week with us might look like.

Day 1 – on arrival

We will be at the airport to meet you, take care of your luggage and drive you to your hotel, using a chauffeur service.

On arrival, you can absorb the ambience of the Gleneagles Experience – from the in house shopping to the wonderful grounds to explore. Gleneagles has been voted the Number One golf Resort in the country and for good reason.

Day 2 – PGA Centennial

After a breakfast service to die for, you’ll play one of the three championship courses – the PGA Centennial; The Kings Course and the Queens course.

Each course is subtly different from the other but set in the rolling hills of the Perthshire countryside the golf here is spectacular.

In the evening you can choose from the fine dining restaurant, Fairlies or the Strathearn restaurant or the Dormy clubhouse. In total this resort offers 6 different dining options.

Day 3 – Leisure Activity

Choose between a second round today – or opt for a different leisure activity. At Gleneagles you’re spoiled for choice – the Leisure pool and world class Spa awaits but why not book a Falconry experience to get up close to these magnificent birds or opt for 4×4 excitement.

Day 4 – Day Trip – Blair Atholl Castle/Glamis Castle

Another round of golf? Or maybe some history with a day trip to Blair Atholl castle or Glamis Castle? Alternatively you could stay on site for fly fishing or shooting. It’s all there for you.

Day 5/6/7 – Extend Your Stay

Our signature Tours are designed to give a five star experience and for some, that may only need to be for a long weekend. Alternatively we could extend your stay in Gleneagles or offer a second venue like St Andrews or Edinburgh to complement your tour.

Again, we will show you the options, and put you in charge.
