Ayrshire Golf Tour

The West Coast Swing

Scotland’s west coast (Ayrshire) has long been regarded and recognised as prime golfing territory and is often regarded as second only to St Andrews as regards truly exceptional Scottish golf. The ancient landscape is studded with courses so good they will challenge you more than you have ever been challenged before – an endless round of outstanding golf set against some of Scotland’s most awe-inspiring scenery.

Why not combine your visit to the West coast course with a trip to the Island courses located off the west coast? Famous for its rugged beauty and set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean lies Machrihanish and Machrihanish Dunes on the very tip of Kintyre peninsula. A short ferry ride from the peninsula will take you to The Machrie on the Isle of Islay and Ardfin on Jura. Each of these offer a truly unique wonderful and unforgettable golfing experience.

The West Coast Swing offers some of our finest Links courses. With a range of Open Championship courses such as Royal Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry, complimented by some outstanding high quality local courses, makes this an area worthy of consideration.
